With fancy outfits, bagpipes galore, and lots of Natasha Bedingfield references, Pingree’s 2022 convocation was one for the history books. Students met the morning of September 7th with anticipation and excitement for what the first day would hold. Streaming into the Athletic Center by grade, students were joined by faculty, family and friends to celebrate our effervescent community and to induct the year in style. Prayers were shared, speeches made, and wonderful artistic performances given. Most memorable were the tiny, square gifts found under everyone’s chairs: Post-It note booklets for jotting down goals and guiding words for the year ahead. Welcome 2022-23 academic year! As some would say… “today is where our book begins!”
